	Yet it is so remote and difficult to access that few people ever venture to the fantastic offshore breaks surfers the world over search for. Western Australia enjoys the same swells that travel through to Indonesia where surfers from all over the world go to in search of

the perfect wave.

Heron Charters has been operating fishing and surfing vacation adventure tours in the Indian Ocean along the Western Australian coast for many years, and we have taken some of the world's best surfers to these fabulous spots. Over this period the vessel has utilized its long range ability to travel to destinations from Margaret River all the way through to the many islands situated up the Western Australian coast in chase of quality unsurfed waves and some of

the largest game fish in the world.

While some of the waves are challenging for the best surfers there is an abundance of waves that are suited for the weekend surfer or mal rider as well. Heron Charters has been able to quantify many of the breaks on these mainly

uncharted islands,

determining what conditions work best and at what time of the year is best for the opportunity to enjoy the prevailing conditions. Taking into consideration the vast length of the coast and the prevailing weather conditions over the years for each region, it's our top priority to ensure that each charter group has the best chance to enjoy their desired adventure. Massive whales and turtles pass by the ship daily and an abundance of fish schools can be seen swimming just below the surface. The experience is truly second to none!
